Dolly came to the shelter as one of 9 dogs that all came in together. After a while in the shelter, she was adopted but for several reasons, that adoption didn’t work out.
So, she was back in the shelter. That’s when Doug and Sonja Smalling came in and decided she was exactly the girl for them.
Dolly now lives in the lap of luxury. Her life may have been pretty difficult for the first three years of her life, but she has it "made in the shade" now. Doug and Sonja love her dearly.
