Happy Tails 5K Run/1K Walk
Join us for the 5th Annual Happy Tails 5K Run & 1K Pet Walk on Sunday April 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm. The event will start at Lions Field in Elizabethton, TN. In addition to the 5K & 1K activities, there will be vendors, animal shelter dogs, and a lot of great fun!

What We Do
The mission of FECCAS is to support the Elizabethton–Carter County Animal Shelter and pets in the Community. We create and deliver programs to help:

Increase the number of pets that are spayed and neutered. We are building a low cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Elizabethton.

Provide medical care for injured, abused, and senior animals in the shelter

Fund building improvements to the shelter.

Increase community awareness of the need to spay and neuter and reduce animal cruelty.
